Contact

This page provides the channels for getting in touch with Fire Alarm Course: for content questions, corrections, topic suggestions, training enquiries, and general professional contact.

For content questions and corrections

If you have spotted an error in an article, want to suggest a topic for coverage, or have a question that the existing content does not answer, the most direct route is email. Replies usually come within a few working days; complex technical questions may take longer if they need real research before answering rather than off-the-cuff opinion.

For training enquiries

Once the structured courses are live, enrolment and training queries will come through the same email address. For now, expressions of interest are noted and contacted when the relevant course is available.

For commercial enquiries

Fire Alarm Course is a content site rather than a fire alarm services business. Specification, design, commissioning, and maintenance services are not provided. Engineers and facility managers needing fire alarm engineering services should engage a qualified contractor through the relevant national trade body: the FIA in the UK, the FDIS in Ireland, NFPA-affiliated firms in the US, and equivalent bodies elsewhere.

For commercial collaboration on the content side (guest articles, technical review, sponsorship of specific topic areas) get in touch via the email above. Commercial relationships that influence editorial neutrality are declined.

For media and press

Press queries, quote requests for trade publications, and conference speaking invitations should also come via email. The response will depend on the relevance to the working-engineer audience the site is written for.

Privacy and data handling

Email contact is handled directly rather than through a form. Email addresses and message content are stored only for as long as is needed to handle the enquiry, and are not added to any marketing list or shared with third parties. For full detail see the Privacy Policy.

About the author

The site is written and edited by John Kelly. Background, editorial principles, and content scope are described on the About page. Professional questions, design reviews, and consulting enquiries that go beyond the educational remit of the site are politely declined: the goal of Fire Alarm Course is to share working knowledge as reference content, not to provide consulting services.
